The history of our tattoo studio on YouTube

The history of our tattoo studio on YouTube, which we have been running since we received the keys to the premises. I’m not sure if there’s anything similar on social media, but we treat our channel as something unique. Currently, we have over 700 subscribers and 200 videos showcasing the life of our tattoo salon. Even if we don’t write anything wise here for a while, you can visualize sequentially what happens in our studio during exceptional moments.

In our tattoo studio in Gdansk, we strive to remain active on various levels. We constantly observe tattoo trends, undergo training, meet with outstanding tattoo artists, and integrate within our community. This way of building our space allows us to continue growing. We survived the COVID-19 pandemic in excellent shape, and now we’re coping with difficult times as war rages beyond our borders.

I’m taking you on a journey through the past four months of our operations based on what we documented on our YouTube channel. We will fly through 14 exceptional situations, and believe me, a lot more happened in our studio.

Let's start with a sentimental topic for me, which is our company's staff. For many years, one of my projects was a clothing brand, TFB Clothing, related to the Tattoofest tattoo festival. At every tattoo convention in Europe, you could see tattoo enthusiasts dressed in our clothes. Each of them was adorned with a design created by Polish and foreign tattoo artists. Now, a glimpse of that project is represented by the Sztorm tattoo collection, and the author of the November series is Emil, also known as Licho nie Śpi. From the perspective of four months since its release, it has become a hit for us! I personally have a hoodie and a t-shirt with this design, and they are fantastic to wear!

Soon, another collection appeared, this time from Ormogedon. Snowmen on shirts with the inscription "Just white left, and we're done" were meant to be part of the announcement for the upcoming vernissage. It took place with a large attendance at the end of November, but the person responsible for recording the event has not fulfilled their duties so far. We missed our Whale that evening as filmmakers, and that's the result we have. A gap in the story. But at least we have the announcement.

HALLOWEEN - here, nothing more needs to be added, just see for yourself. Remembering the first event of this kind that I organized at the Krakow Kult 15 years ago, I have images of bugs in a jar in front of my eyes. Our receptionist, Jasiek, brought them along with a considerable dose of B-class horror films and erotica from the 70s. There was a lot happening, and this time it was a bit tamer, but oh, the colors and the tattoos we created! One would say it was a pumpkin to savor.

We selectively and symbolically document some of the tattoos created in our salon. The same happened with a client who embraced two calligraphy tattoos from our Emil. The placement is quite unconventional, above the knees, but it showcases how beautiful and unique feminine tattoos can be, not only those behind the ear or on the wrist.

This time, I'll show you a fairly simple tattoo by our Alina, who is infused with the ignorant style of tattooing on one hand, but executes it technically perfectly. And it starts to make sense! Bravo, Nowy Lepszy Szatan!

Joanna Fąferko, a highly experienced tattoo artist not only in tattooing but also in conducting tattoo seminars, visited the Storm. Our tattoo artists had the opportunity to observe Asia's work and listen to suggestions related to tattooing during the meeting that marked the end of the guest spot. That's how it was, and hosting this person in our tattoo studio was pure pleasure. Joanna Fąferko is a blend of professionalism, knowledge, and warmth that is hard to come across in the modern world.

Ouch, it was hot on Valentine's Day, thanks to our collaboration with an exclusive adult toy store. Alina, also known as the New Better Satan, adorned Par Lamour's customers with spicy tattoos. Oh, that store is beautifully arranged.

Now, settle comfortably in your chair or wherever you're sitting and see how passionately one can talk about tongue piercing. Of course, you'll also learn many interesting things about this type of piercing, and... don't try it at home.

The Story of One Tattoo.
Now we will take you through a series of stories about one tattoo, showcasing different approaches to tattoo styles. Remember that Sztorm has a team of several artists, each specializing in a different style of tattooing. By taking some time to browse through the galleries of our artists, every resident of Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia, and the surrounding areas will find something that suits their taste.

We’ve reached the end of our visit to the Tattoo Convention in Gdańsk.
